Vou postar alguns looks do Oscar e vou comentando. Como cinéfila amei o evento, mas como blogueira de moda achei um pouco fraco os looks desse ano, nada me fez suspirar. Os vestidos em si eram muito bonitos, mas é isso, bonitos.
I’m going to post some Oscar looks and comments. As a cinephile I loveddddd the event, but as a fashion blogger I thought the looks didn’t have the wow factor I was expecting. The dresses themselves were beautiful, but that’s about it, the looks weren’t put together in a way that made me loose my breath and sigh.
Gwyneth Paltrow- Tom Ford
Amei o vestido! Tom Ford sempre chique e elegante, não sei se amo ou odeio a capa, mas como estava frio a gente perdoa!
Loved the dress! Tom Ford is always so elegant and chic, I’m still on the fence on the cape thing, but I was told it was chilly, so it’s forgivable.
Angelina Jolie-Atelier Versace
Ela me desapontou um pouco, ela é linda e sempre será, não importa o que vestir, mas esperava mais de uma Fashion Icon. O vestido é meio nada de mais e o que é esse troço no quadril dela??!
She disappointed me, she is beautiful and always will be no matter what she wears, but I was expecting more from a Fashion Icon. The dress isn’t phenomenal and the hip thing is just weird.
Emma Stone-Giambattista Valli couture
Ela não ta feia, mas se você vai roubar o look de alguém do passado (Nicole Kidman e ela vestiu melhor!) que seja algo MARAVILHOSO. Apesar de ser um Giambattista Valli, sei lá, não suspirei.
She doesn’t look bad, but if you’re going to steel some ones look from the past (Nicole Kidman, and she wore it better!) it must be absolutely AMAZING!
Even though this was a Giambattista Valli gown it didn’t make me sigh.
Penélope Cruz-Giorgio Armani
Não gostei, o make ta incrível, mas o vestido deixou a desejar e esse cabelo não curti.
I just didn’t like it, the make up looks really good, but the dress doesn’t do anything for her and the hair style makes her look older than she is.
Michelle Williams-Louis Vuitton
Amei esse vestido, quando vi na Tv não gostei muito porque achei que era um vermelho meio feio, mas depois vi fotos e a própria Michelle descrevendo a cor como coral.
I loved this dress, when I saw it on TV I didn’t like it but only because it looked like a weird red, but after looking at different pictures of it and Michelle herself describing it as coral, I had to have a change of heart.
Cameron Diaz-Gucci
Esse vestido não traduziu bem em fotos, mas ele é bem bonito, romântico e elegante.
This dress didn’t translate that well in pictures, but it’s really pretty, romantic and elegant.
Sandra Bullock-Marchesa
Eu não odiei o vestido e a parte de trás dele é bem bonito, mas o caimento não ficou bom nela.
I didn’t hate the dress and the back part is actually really pretty, but it just didn’t fall properly on her body. She could use some tailoring.
Natalie Portman-Vintage Dior
Muito sem graça pro Oscar.
It’s just to plain for the Oscars no wow factor.
Jennifer Lopez-Zuhair Murad
Sei que muitos irão discordar de mim, mas eu gostei desse look, ela foi totalmente fiel ao estilo dela e o vestido veste nela como uma segunda pele. Achei bem chique apesar do brilho todo.
I know a lot of you will disagree with me on this one, but I like this look a lot. She was totally faithful to her style and that dress fits her perfectly and hugs her body in just the right areas. I thought it was really chic even though it had some weird sparkle.
Jessica Chastain-Alexander McQueen
Esse é um dos meu looks favoritos, achei que tudo ficou bonito e coeso, o vestido é maravilhoso e com isso ela deixou o cabelo e make mais simples, pra não ficar over the top e tirar a atenção do vestido.
This is one of my favorite looks. She got it all right! The dress is stunning and because of that she didn’t exaggerate on the hair and make up so that it wouldn’t be over the top and take away from the dress.
Rooney Mara-Givenchy
Eu gostei da parte de baixo do vestido, mas o que ta acontecendo na área dos seios?! Faz eles parecerem caídos.
I liked the bottom half of this dress, but what’s happening in the boob area?! I’m just saying, it makes them look droopy.
Rose Byrne-Vivienne Westwood
Esse foi um dos vestidos que realmente não traduziu bem em fotos, ele é azul tipo midnight e parece preto! Não curti o vestido no geral, parece disco fever.
This is one of the dresses that translated the worst on camera, it looks black, but apparently its midnight blue. I just didn’t like the dress and it reminded me of the disco age.

Loved the dress! But the hair and make up just didn’t do it for me.

Ela estava linda com esse vestido e sem peruca (ao natural), os brincos deram um up no look absurdo! E esse decote?! Queria eu ter o corpo pra usar isso!
She looks beautiful in this dress and wigless (love her natural self), the earing made the outfit come together flawlessly. What about that cleavage?! I wish I had the body for that.

Amei o vestido e a cor do cabelo dela é LINDO, mas não sei se achei o vestido certo para o Oscar.
Love the dress and the color of her hair is to die for! But I’m not sure the dress is appropriate for the award ceremony.
